1st official weigh in

Wow what a week it has been. I did my first offical weigh in for my new Weight Watchers diet and I am so happy with the weight that I weighed this morning

SW- 183
CW- 174.4.

Wow that is an almost 9 lb weight loss.

Update on My Weight Loss Goals.

So this past week I have been doing weight watchers. I am not doing it online or in meetings I am just counting my points and keeping track of the amount of caloires I eat. This week was a pretty good week but the real test will be tomorrow when I weigh in. These are the goals of last week

No caffiene- I did really good on this, I did have a day where I was craving soda, but I did not check give in. - completed
No Fast Food- so I so did not do good on this. I had Wendys for lunch one day, then had mall food, then had a funnel cake and schlotszky's one night- Not completed
30 minutes of walking- I did this on wednesday, friday and Saturday. While it was not other day I did pretty good- Completed
Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks- Completed
Drink 8 glasses of water- completed

New Goals for this week
1. Caffiene- Can have one caffiene drink everyother day. I am looking forward to having an iced coffee but it will be part of my points.
2. Fast Food- I will allow myself one day out
3. Walk at least 45 minutes every other day.
4 Eat more fruit-at least 3 servings a day
5. Water- at least 10 glasses a day

I will post my weigth tomorrow on offical weigh in day.

My struggle with weekend eating

So all thru the week I do a great job with my eating. I have 3 meals a day plus my 2 snacks of fruit. I also have all my 8 glasses of water. Yet on the weekend, all I want to do is eat and eat and eat. On friday we went to the water park here in Dallas, I did most of the day, I had my breakfast bar before we went to the park, then I had a grilled chicken salad at the park with ranch dressing and water, then came my stuggle. I love love love funnel cakes and when I saw one I knew I wanted one or 3. Yet, I tried to resist it all day. At about 4 pm my craving got the best of me. I got a funnel cake and a bottle of water. Well I ate about 3/4 of it. Yet I did not reliaze until I got home how many caloires was in one. There are 767 caloires in them and 44 grams of fat. Needless to say when I reliazed that I modified what dinner would be. I ended up having a bowl of soup, some crackers and some oranges. Then I went and walked/ran for 40 minutes. Today I have been somewhat better. I had my ceral bar fro breakfast, had 4 glasses of water before lunch then had some asian chicken wraps, rice cake and oranges for lunch. I then had another orange for sanch. Yet here I sit waiting for Matt to bring me back a sandwhich from Schlotszkys. While I only plan on having the sandwhich I know I am going to go walk and run my dinner off. Yet it won't be enough because I am sure my weight will be up. Help how do I conquer the weekend eating blues?

Water and Soda

SO I one of my goals for this weight loss was to stop drinking caffiene. sSO far i have been doing good with it. Today I did not get my 8 glasses of water until about 20 minutes ago but I did manage to get my 8 glasses. Yet I was craving some soda, I knew that I had soem diet dr pepper in the frige but I did not want to blow my goals by drinking regular soda so I went to Traget and bought caffiene free diet soda. The funny thing is that by the time I got home and put it tin the fridge I did not want it. I have figuredd that I will have it in case I have a rough day. I also realized that I need to make my water flavored or I can't drink it.

So far so good on my diet. I will update in a few days on any other struggles I am having.

Weight Watchers

SO after the last few months I have been a lot of yo yo diet i decided that I needed to get serious about losing weight. For this reason I looked into doing weight watchers online but I could not justify spending 55 dollars a month on the membership for online. For this reason I bought a weight watchers kit omline. I am alotted 26 points a day and 35 flex points. So today I went and bought alot of fruits and veggies. I also have set some goals for this week. They include the following

1. No caffiene- I have done this before and will slowly add caffiene back in.
2. No fast food- This will be hard because we are going to the water park on friday but I will get a salad.
3. Walk 30 minutes every other day. I hope to add more time later
4. Eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. This will be my hardest goal because I usually only eat once a day.
5. drink 8 glasses of water.


I will check in in the middle of the week to update how I am doing
